Engagement

An example of increasing engagement, that I just loved when I read it, and know would certainly open up dialogue in many situations, both organisationally and personally.

The Someone Once Told Me project aims to share those words that stay with us through black and white photography. Founded by BBC journalist Mario Cacciottolo in late 2006, the project asks individuals to share some of the most memorable words that have been said to them. For over 7 years Mario has been asking participants to write one powerful phrase on a large white piece of paper, and hold it up as he takes a picture. The words can be funny or serious, and the individuals who participate have an opportunity to expand on those words and tell a story.

What a great way to capture stories within organisations, within communities, within teams!

I would love to see this in action. Share some examples.
